What Hero TV is

Hero TV is Hero Run's infinite-show surface: pick a cast and premise, let a director model write beats, and let a video model shoot short clips. The public lobby lists channels; /tv redirects to /infinite-tv. Audience steering and paid steers appear in product copy and llms.txt.

We do not show red LIVE. /api/tv may mark channels status=live and attach fal MiniMax H3 MP4s, but observed lastTick values can be stale and there is no public HLS or advancing playlist we accept as a live proof. $HERO, heroUsd and clipHero figures stay explicitly unverified.

Optional model evidence: API payloads and llms.txt name minimax/h3-max/image-to-video@fal as a default — record that only as observed operator configuration, not as a verified continuous broadcast.

How the experience flows

1. Open herorunai.com/tv (redirects to /infinite-tv) to browse channels.
2. Watch an existing show, or open your own via the documented POST /api/tv flow with an API key.
3. Steer beats when the channel allows; paid steer and tip flows are described in llms.txt but amounts stay unverified here.
4. This directory listing never shows red LIVE — channel status strings and MP4 clip lists are not treated as a live detector.

Status, as checked

Website reachability and broadcast status are recorded separately; an HTTP 200 never counts as live. Expired checks degrade to Stale, detector failures to Unverified. Methodology.

Why we track it

Documents API-opened infinite shows and fal MiniMax defaults without confusing $HERO marketing or stale status=live fields for a verified LIVE badge.
